In September over a dozen Coburg residents stepped up to help steer an Oregon Main Street program. “Oregon Main Street works with communities to develop comprehensive, incremental revitalization strategies based on a community’s unique assets, character, and heritage.” In short, the program is designed to help create a vibrant downtown while maintaining its vital character.

Preliminary meetings are being organized by the Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Main Street program staff and the Rural Development Initiative. Information can be found at
